Chi-Myst is a powerful prescription medicine used topically (applied to the skin) to treat a variety of symptoms, particularly burns, wounds and inflammation-based conditions like arthritis, tendinitis and chronic pain. Chi-Myst includes one prescription medicine that initially dulls the pain within a few minutes, and another prescription medicine that helps reduce inflammation and swelling. Chi-Myst works to relieve both the immediate pain, and the underlying source of the pain. It also promotes healing. Chi-Myst is naturally antimicrobial, and promotes healing in burns, and has applications in wound care, as well.
Chi-Myst is non-narcotic and not habit forming. Because it is not taken internally, it will not alter your ability to continue normal work and activities of daily living, unlike some systemic medications.
Chi-Myst is available only by prescription, and only through participating prescribing physicians in Central Oklahoma during the initial product roll-out period. Prescriptions are filled and mailed directly to your home by Prescription Care Pharmacy in Norman, Okla., which is the sole licensed producer of Chi-Myst.
Chi-Myst is new to the market. PRINT THIS PAGE and take it to your next appointment,
or you can e-mail your doctor a link to the Chi-Myst Web site. There is special information available for physicians
on the Healthcare Providers page on this Web site.
Chitosan is a product of Chitin, a compound found in nature, and derived principally from shrimp shells and tails. It is naturally antimicrobial, and promotes healing. Chitosan also has unique properties that make it an ideal vehicle to transfer medicine applied directly to the skin. The medicine travels through multiple dermal layers and ultimately to the source of the pain and inflammation. If you have an allergy to shrimp or other shellfish, Chitosan has thus far not shown any adverse effects, but talk to your treating physician before using Chi-Myst.
Patent Pending: A patent application has been filed by NRD Medical protecting the use of Chitosan as a transdermal vehicle for the transfer of medicine, and the specific formulation of Chi-Myst. Any unlicensed use or compounding of Chi-Myst or similar medication is subject to legal action. Compliance is strictly enforced.
